A Global manufacturing company in Thanet are looking to recruit a Quality Technician with experience in manufacturing and ISO certification processes to join their increasingly busy team.

This post will see you working with the production and engineering staff to support any receiving-in processes, and performing final inspection activities. You will report to senior management on the state of the quality system as defined in the Quality documents. You will also support with the resolution and disposal of quality issues raised by customers and vendors.

You will help develop documentation for the Company’s quality system to satisfy the standards of ISO-9001- 2000 and you will administer all document control activities associated with the quality system including, but not limited to, the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Non- Conformances, Inspection Reports, etc. Furthermore, you must conduct and supervise calibration activities, maintaining accurate records of calibrations performed, both internal and external. You will also administer all Internal Audits associated with the quality system.

You will conduct and oversee the training of all company personnel in the quality documents along with the activities associated with those documents; ensuring training records are generated and stored in accordance with procedures.

This post demands a candidate with proven experience in a manufacturing environment along with the ISO certification process and procedures. You will have the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels within an organisation and first class communication and administration skills are key.
