An established Engineering Consultancy are looking to hire an experienced Client Side Project Manager who would be capable of managing one of the largest port projects in the UK since Thames Gateway. The position has arisen due to major works needed that will transform the surrounding access areas for one of the Country’s most important coastal locations with an overall budget of 400,000,000.

This consultancy undertakes major assignments nationally for engineering, energy, industrial and residential projects and now requires an experienced project manager who manages the full project life cycles and taking lead from the on-set.

You will have strong knowledge of 278 works, hands on site leadership experience, management of NEC Contracts and the expertise to deal and liaise with clients and highways agencies. Strong leadership and management skills are crucial to the project along with a complete understanding of the essential principles and practices of project management that determine the success of an assignment.

A background of managing major highways / road works would be of great benefit and experience with regeneration and road improvements schemes world be imperative.

You must be able to work in the UK without restriction and hold a valid and clean driving licence.
