My client, a commercial multimillion GBP turnover organisation with aggressive growth plans in their market, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing all journals such as prepayments, accruals and wage journals
- Managing the fixed asset register
- Calculating and submitting VAT and CIS tax returns
- Weekly balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing and reconciling the bank accounts
- Preparing and processing weekly payments
- Manage the daily cash flow spreadsheet
- Purchase order maintenance
- Assist with statutory accounts
This is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive and flexible individual. The ideal candidate will be studying or looking to study ACCA/CIMA and possess excellent organisation skills.
