The Restaurant at Maidstone Studios has a vacancy for an experienced Chef Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking talented Chef seeking a new project where they can really make a name for themselves!
The applicant should
• be an experienced Head Chef level used to working within a fast paced kitchen environment.
• demonstrate a passion for good food and excellent customer service to ensure the customer’s experience is a good one and expectations are exceeded at all times.
• show creative flair & menu development experience
• be friendly, enthusiastic and motivated with a positive and professional attitude and high standards of both food and personal presentation
• have relevant qualifications and a thorough understanding and working knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations and all compliance requirements.
• be able to demonstrable leadership qualities and the ability to work under pressure
• have excellent communication & management skills. As service levels are variable the team grows from a basic 3 to 10 in busy periods
• have sound experience with stock control & cost management
This is a full time position with immediate start and salary subject to experience.
