Job Purpose:
As divisional head, you are responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenues. You will command the respect of both clients and colleagues and demonstrate senior management attributes including leadership, ownership of relationships and projects, be a strong team player and a professional with a proven ability to think creatively / strategically, and act tactically / efficiently.

Working relationships:
• Your ability to work with all areas of the business and effectively influence and communicate both inter- and intra-division is essential to achieve revenue targets
• Key relationships include:
- Marketing Director
- Finance Director
- Operations Director

Hours of work:
37.5 hours a week. The nature of the post will, at times, require additional commitment over and above normal office hours. Payment for these hours is incorporated in the salary offered.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Management and Leadership
a) Develop, implement and manage sales plans and strategies to acquire new clients, maintain existing relationships and grow the pipeline of new business for your division
b) Identify, structure, negotiate and close strategic partnership arrangements to the mutual benefit of your division and the partner.
c) Lead by example in building business relationships and partnerships to further develop your division, including securing presentation slots at seminars/ networking events.
d) Work with the Marketing Director and Finance Director to set annual budgets and revenue forecasts for your division, and set realistic goals for individual team members.
e) Work closely with other divisional Heads to share information including knowledge, strategies and successes whilst defining how this would ultimately filter through the team.

2. Financial Management and Market Analysis
a) Present weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis of revenue and sales progress
b) Outline potential growth areas for your division and identify areas for concern
c) Oversee budgets and the achievement of targets for your division, undertaking ROI analysis and ensuring best value for money is obtained.
d) Maintain financial controls and ensure the Finance Department receives all relevant financial information promptly, ensuring your team adopt best practice in financial management and that financial systems and expenses systems are adhered to at all times.

3. Operational Management & Mentoring
a) Instil and maintain a customer-centric ethos across the division and ensure your team are client focused and responsive to client demand.
b) Ensure the CRM system is up-to-date and reflects the status of new business flows and client information.
c) Co-ordinate the work and monitor the workloads of direct reports, ensuring that staff levels are adequate and efficient.
d) Review and refine business processes to optimise efficiencies in team performance and client engagement.
e) Conduct performance reviews of direct reports, and ensure every team member is appraised at the defined stages throughout the year.
f) Identify individual training needs for direct and external reports.
