Dunstans Publishing is a small but growing publishing company and we are seeking a highly-experienced and efficient freelance accounts manager/bookkeeper to operate and manage the company’s Sage 50 financial system.
The role is part-time 10-15 hours per month and hours can be arranged to suit, with some remote access if necessary. You will be working with the Office Manager and report directly to the Managing Director.
Applicants must have substantial previous experience in managing Sage 50 systems including sales and purchase ledgers, production of monthly management accounts and payroll. In addition, you must be proficient in MS Excel and understand the basics of databases.
The successful candidate will have experience working in smaller companies, and be self-motivated with good time management. You will have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to see what needs doing and ensure it gets done.
You must have up-to-date knowledge of current accounting practices, payroll issues and relevant legislation, and the ability to deal with people sensitively whether as staff, customers or suppliers.
Impeccable references and relevant qualifications are required.
Hourly rate by negotiation.
