Due to a large increase in business and maternity leave The Black Horse Inn is looking to recruit two part time housekeepers to join our team of 8 friendly housekeepers with immediate effect. The hours will be roughly 20-27 per week (dependant on room bookings) and spread over 4-5 days including weekends. The start times for each day are between 9.30-10am with a finish time normally no later than 4pm at the weekends and 3pm during the week. The Black Horse Inn has 27 bed and breakfast rooms located within annexes in our 2 acre grounds and we pride ourselves on having 5/5 reviews for our room cleanliness and maintenance , therefore the potential applicants must have attention to detail and be able to work on their own as well as in a team. Due to our rural location own transport is essential as is flexibility to cover at short notice in busy periods. Rates of pay are £7 per hour and each staff member gets a share of the weekly gratuities generated from the restaurant. We also offer 5.5 weeks paid holiday per year. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given, but an eye to detail and pride in your work is a must.
