We have a fantastic opportunity to work for an established, very successful and growing Food Distribution business.

There are excellent training and progression opportunities within this business, with scope to develop into a management position!

The Role:
• Working within a very busy and fast paced customer service team
• Continuously taking calls from customers regarding delivery problems or issues with produce
• Offering solutions, managing problems and then turning them into opportunities
• Negotiating prices and meeting required targets
• Liaising with the warehouse and transport departments with regards to stock investigation and delivery queries

This is a very faced paced, problem solving, customer service role.


Skills / Experience:
• Ability to problem solve and think of solutions within a pressurised and fast paced situation
• Previous customer service experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given
• Confident nature to operate in a negotiating area, whilst still remaining good humoured
• Excellent numeric skills with the ability to accurately input data
• Excellent communication skills

Own transport is essential as the company is not near any public transport routes.


5 days over 7, including weekends with days off in lieu. This is a full time, permanent position.

Salary is depending on experience.
