Are you a Training Officer looking for long term Temporary work? Do you want to work for a fantastic company in Ashford?

Then please apply, we are looking for a long term Temporary Training Officer in Ashford.

Applicants will need to have previous Training experience and be available to start work within 2 weeks.

• In liaison with the Head of Personnel & Development to assess and analyse organisational issues and direct and lead on the development and delivery of learning and development programmes in response to these.

• To evaluate all corporate learning and development activities to ensure that objectives are met and they deliver value for money.

• To design, commission, deliver and market bespoke learning and development programmes to meet identified training needs, either personally or with external providers as appropriate including drawing up detailed training specifications and negotiating contracts.

• To manage the training budget, monitor and report back to the head of Personnel & Development on the training budget.

• To provide advice on the appraisal process and documentation to managers and staff, as required, including monitoring of return rates and reporting to management team as appropriate.

• To develop and maintain appropriate systems to provide information to management team and service managers about Learning and development. Work with colleagues in ICT and Communications to develop and enhance the capability of the intranet to support training record-keeping and evaluation.

• To promote equality of opportunity in employment and service provision, and eliminate unlawful discrimination.

• To recognise that people have different abilities to contribute to the Companies goals and performance and to take necessary action to give everyone a chance to contribute and compete on equal terms.
