Connect Personnel are seeking an HR and Training Manager to work with their client, based in Ashford. This is a full time, permanent job opportunity to work with a rewarding company.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused, driven by targets to achieve excellent results and a good decision maker.
The role contributes to the management, direction and achievement of the HR & Training strategy. You must establish, agree and implement people initiatives, ensuring that managers are capable of achieving their goals. You must possess the ability to influence senior Managers and Directors.
Essential:
* Proven track record in an HR role
* Generalist HR experience
Preferable:
* Degree qualification
* CIPD qualified or prepared to study for
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Communications in development of the overall HR & Training strategy and ensuring consistency in all HR & training practices
* Work alongside senior Managers to continually develop, challenge and improve the structure in order to create an environment that ensures best practice
* Maintain a stable Employee Relations environment, promoting effective two way communication
* Encourage commitment and motivation, a 'can do' attitude
* Partner managers in the recruitment of all managers, ensuring talent is consistently upgraded
* Seek new and innovative approaches to training and development
* Conduct Training Needs Analysis based on appraisal & PDP documentation
* Coach in order to optimise performance and development
