This is an exciting new role for a candidate with demonstrable experience within a security operations or similar background, teamed with the ability to communicate and build effective relationships at all levels within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
The Deputy Security Manager is a key part of the management team responsible for the delivery of all security, parking and traffic related services for the campuses at Canterbury and Medway; ensuring the safety and security of people, premises and assets associated with the University. Maintaining high standards of performance and communication within your team is also a vital part of this role.
You will need to have a customer focused and friendly approach to all aspects of the role as you will be responsible for all day to day operational matters, ensuring that duties, events and incidents are managed in an efficient and effective manner.
