My client, a respected organisation based in North Kent is recruiting for a Financial Systems Accountant on a part time basis working 2 days a week.
In this role, you will be assisting the Financial Systems Manager in a number of tasks, including:
-Maintaining the integrity of all finance systems and the interfaces between them
-Continuously reviewing existing practices and systems and implementing the improvements
-Communicating system updates/upgrades and new system introductions
You will also support and advise users in the best way to access financial information from systems, control access to all finance systems on an on-going basis and take responsibility for the production, distribution and maintenance of documentation for finance systems.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong systems background rather than a generic accounting background. Someone who has experience which has given strong exposure to IT/databases and then moved into an accounts/systems role would be ideal.
The salary for this role will be pro rata.
