Part Time 18.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an Internal Verifier/ Quality Assessor to join our existing vibrant and enthusiastic team on a permanent basis, working with the Faculty Lead for IV to ensure that the VN courses and associated practices are quality managed by a robust internal verification process.

The successful candidate will need at least 3 years’ relevant practical experience in the veterinary industry plus Literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 or equivalent. A keen interest in a wide range of animal related subjects is essential, as is a minimum Level 3 vocational qualification (Degree, NVQ in Vet Nursing, etc).

In addition to the minimum requirements detailed above, candidates will also need a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one and have experience of working within quality assurance procedures. Excellent communication, team work and IT skills are a must. Qualifications TAQA, V1 or D34 are essential.

This is a part time position, working 18.5 hours per week.

As well as contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts 7 weeks holiday each year, pro rata (excluding bank holidays).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
