Initially a 3 month contract, we are looking for a Material Assessor on behalf of our client based in Dartford.
Material Assessor applicants will have experience in the quality inspection of raw materials, prepare samples to the requirement of IQA Inspection & Test Records, temperature control materials in a range of storage conditions, assist with the delivery of materials to manufacturing areas and ensure that waste is removed from site in a compliant manner.
The role also involves working to GMP & ISO:9001 auditing standards, liaising with suppliers and to undertake the process of shipping product to global sites ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
The right candidate will have a Dangerous Goods qualification in accordance with IATA, IMDG and ADR regulations (air, sea and road shipments), a Forklift qualification to operate PITs, at least 5 years traceable job history for security purposes, IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification and a minimum of 4 GCSE's.
Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of shipping materials globally. Although initially a 3 month contract this may potentially be extended.
Hours of working: 7am - 9pm flexi hours.
