Temporary Physiotherapist Band 6 - 7
Full Time Fixed Term position for 12 months

The John Townsend Trust require temporary Physiotherapy cover from September 2014 for a period of 12 months to assist with and cover the delivery and management of a physiotherapist service for our children and young people at The Royal School for Deaf Children Margate, Westgate College and our adult services provisions.

The John Townsend Trust provides education and care for d/Deaf children and young people or young people with communication difficulties who may have additional needs, for a positive future within work and their communities.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC.

Essential experience for this post includes:
• A broad range of post graduate experience in a variety of clinical areas such as NHS Band 5 rotation
• Working with adults and / or paediatrics with learning disabilities or communication difficulties.
• Delivering aquatic physiotherapy
• Treating respiratory conditions
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

It would also be desirable for candidates to have had some experience working in the community as well as delivering manual handling and risk assessment for moving complex patients.

This is a term time role however flexibility is required to work some hours during school holidays.
