We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join our head office team, to maximise hotel revenues and guest satisfaction by negotiating both Conference and Corporate business with existing and potential clients in accordance with the sales business plan.
WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FROM PEOPLE WITH HOTEL INDUSTRY SALES EXPERIENCE, AS THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE.
You will also build strong relationships with Hotel Booking Agents and Business Travel Agents in order to win their business. You will pro-actively hunt for new business and manage a portfolio of top producing Hotel Booking Agents while driving rate and increasing occupancies.
You will need to acquire full knowledge of the hotel's competitor set and prepare accurate forecasts of accounts, liaising with the reservations department to ensure all reservations are tracked correctly for statistical purposes.
You will also oversee the hotels Marketing strategy to ensure engagement and interaction with exsiting and new clients across all platforms but with particular emphasis on digital (social media).
Company laptop and smartphone will be provided.
