You will be responsible for:
Observing children's progress and report on achievements
Assist with the supervision of children at play and during mealtimes
Develop positive relationships with parents and carers
Assist with planning a programme of activities, following EYFS guidelines.
Assist with creating a stimulating and attractive classroom environment
Assist with the care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys
Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Skills Required
Sound written and oral communication
Good recording and organisational skills
Knowledge of child development
Basic understanding of EYFS
Knowledge of child protection procedures
Qualifications Required
GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Personal Qualities
Ability to develop good working relationships with others
Friendly and approachable
Positive and flexible approach to work
Committed and passionate
Able to work well within a team
