Details of the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and confident individual to help customers with their enquiries, both by telephone and e-mail. As their first point of contact, you will be expected to help with queries, offer product advice, create quotations and help resolve issues for our range of products and solutions, for which full training will be provided.

When not responding directly to customers, you will proactively develop content for our website and be a driving force behind new & exciting strategies.

Essential Requirements

• Professional and positive telephone & e-mail manner
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve enquiries proactively and a ‘get it right first time’ approach
• Excellent computer skills, including proficient & confident use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and other mainstream software packages
• Able to use your initiative with an enjoyment of varied and challenging roles
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a thorough attention to detail
• Be reliable and trustworthy with a strong desire to help people
• Able to work enthusiastically on your own but also being a good team player
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
• A keen interest in technology and educational products

Our essential requirements are required attributes, so please only apply if you meet the above criteria.

Areas of Specific Benefit to Us

• NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Customer Service Levels 1 - 4, or equivalent, would be an advantage, but is not essential
• Experience of working in or for a school or educational environment, would be an advantage, but is not essential
• Previous use of Sage 50 Accounts Professional, or similar, would be an advantage - however, full training will be provided
