Permanent; Full-time 162.5 hours per month
Salary Scale: £13,494 – £14,855 plus allowances
Canterbury Oast Trust takes pride in providing high quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities across Kent and East Sussex.
We provide long-term accommodation and care, based in small, unique family style homes. The ethos of all our homes is to support independence, dignity, choice and achievement by helping people to live the lives they choose.
We are looking for support workers who feel they are able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring and supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Working alone or as part of a larger team you will provide high quality care and support to the adults based on their needs through a person-centred approach. You will assist them in every aspect of their daily lives, including personal care with the dignity and respect they have a right to expect. You will provide a safe and supportive environment that enables individuals to feel valued, reach their potential and nurture their aspirations.
Your own vehicle and a clear and current driving licence are essential due to our rural location. An Enhanced Criminal Records check is required for this role.
