Senior Technician -
Concrete
Based at Ridham Technical Laboratory

THE ROLE
· To assist the Technical Services Manager in the achievement of Department Targets
· To plan and initiate the programme of routine revalidation and development trials
· To provide holiday/sickness cover for other Field Technicians
· To assist in the recording of quality control data
· To provide site representation in respect of contracts that are both technically and operationally challenging
· To maintain calibration schedules
· To monitor the daily activities of Field Technicians

THE REQUIREMENTS
· You will be a fully integrated member of the Technical Department’s team and will therefore have an awareness of the importance of quality control data and the process for handling issues.
· You will be able to assist in the preparation of reports and therefore have familiarity with Microsoft word and Excel packages. A qualification in concrete technology is essential as is a current driving licence.
