- E3 (a not for profit company) has been appointed to deliver an exciting Retrofit project in Dartford and Sevenoaks, on behalf of Dartford Borough Council, who has successfully secured funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) as part of the Green Deal Communities initiative.
- We are therefore looking to appoint a Project Manager for the management and co-ordination of a team of up to 6 people, including 4 Community Engagement team members, with the objective of improving the energy efficiency of properties across Dartford and Sevenoaks on a street-by-street basis and developing a strong community focus.
- The role also includes control and oversight of all reporting duties to the Project Board, the Delivery Group, DECC, and to the Directors of E3.

Key responsibilities:
The project manager will be responsible for the overall planning, co-ordination, running and delivery of the project and the project team, which will include (but is not limited to) the following main tasks:
- drawing up a Business Plan for delivering the project within key areas of Dartford and Sevenoaks
- delivery of key project targets in relation to:
o number of homes engaged
o the number of Green Deal and Energy plans developed
o the delivery of installations to properties in conjunction with the Directors
- management of relationships with project partners including
o smooth running of the Project Board and Delivery Group, in association with DBC
o maintaining and enhancing relationships with contractors and the supply chain generally
- oversight of project finances in association with the finance officer
- managing the customer service support of 2010 domestic and non-domestic properties
- directing a marketing and communications campaign that will reach at least 8000 properties
- devising, planning and overseeing a programme of training and engagement for the business supply chain for the project and potential “energy champions”
- regular project analysis and quarterly reporting to all partners
- giving presentations and organising a range of workshops
- liaising with local authorities , DECC and all other partners to provide scheme updates
