We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller for our busy operation in Crayford. We are seeking a technically knowledgeable individual with excellent man management skills. You will help drive the department forward. We need someone who isn't scared of working closely with the team and building strong processes. This is a demanding and pressurised role. You will have an enviable and proven track record of performance with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will also have the ability to lead, coach and develop your team and know how to get the best out of people. As such, this role requires an outstanding individual whose enthusiastic, positive approach will encourage exceptional levels of work and efficiency form the workshop. You will be expected to control the work flow through the workshop, act as quality control for the technicians’ work and deliver on a prompt first time fix for all work that is actioned.
The successful candidate will be required to run an extremely busy workshop and must therefore have current or recent experience as a Workshop Controller or Workshop Manager within the Franchised Motor Trade. Applicants will need to be extremely organised and eager to hit targets & maximise productivity in the workshop.

A technical background would be a distinct advantage, as would working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (e.g. Kerridge, Pinnacle, KDMS). You must have a Full UK driving licence.Priority will be to supervise a team of 7 technicians.
