Medway (UK) Ltd is a UK manufacturer and international distributor of power transmission and motion transfer products. We produce items for some of the world’s most prestigious and known brands such as Bentley Motors, New Holland Tractors, JCB and John Deere.
Due to our continued expansion an exciting opportunity have arisen within the accounts department for an experienced Credit Controller.
The key areas of responsibility will be:
• Maintenance of the sales ledgers
• Reconciling company bank statements
• Banking
• Posting and allocating cash
• Chasing debt by telephone, email & letter
• Identifying and resolving any queries arising on the accounts
• Pro-actively resolving any queries arising on the accounts
• General administrational duties

To be an effective accounts assistant you will be required to have the following skills:
•Excellent personal organisation, time management and ability to prioritise
•Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
•Excellent communication skills are essential in both written and verbal
•Good working knowledge of Word and Excel, good typing skills
•A good level of English spelling and grammar
•Accuracy and attention to detail
•Demonstrate good customer service skills

The position offers 20 hours initially per week, 5 hours each day Monday to Thursday, 16 days paid annual leave per year plus all bank holidays paid. Salary offered will be based on level of experience.
