SOUS CHEF – fast paced kitchen – fresh food – £25,000 -
A beautiful country pub with a lively bar and restaurant. Due to expansion within this independent pub group they are currently seeking a Sous Chef for one of their busiest sites.
There is a brigade of 8 chefs preparing modern British and European cuisine. The standard of cooking is very high and everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce, all locally sourced where possible.
As Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of running a fast paced kitchen including menu planning, stock control, ordering and training and motivating the junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Sous Chef within a fresh food kitchen and had previous experience catering for a large number of covers.
