Senior Support Worker – Platters Farm Lodge

If you are patient with excellent communication and leadership skills, have the ability to support staff whilst they are undertaking their induction and ongoing development, the above post could be the one for you!
You will need to confidently be able to provide physical and social support to individuals to ensure they can achieve an appropriate level of independence and wellbeing in line with their aspirations and abilities.
In addition to this you will be responsible for:

• The Induction & Training of all new and existing staff to ensure they are able to deliver the service at the standard required.
• Be responsible for the support and supervision of all care staff.
• Pro-actively lead a team of dedicated care staff for a designated area of the home

Essential to the role is a Diploma/NVQ 3 in Care and a current driving licence with at least 2 years experience within a similar role.

With an Hourly Rate of pay from ₤7.83 per hour to ₤8.44 per hour and an Enhancement of 20p per hour paid for relevant Qualification

We are currently looking to recruit two Senior Support Workers working between 20 – 30 hours per week, worked over a seven day rota on nights
