An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join our busy Transport Office to track inbound European logistics.
Key responsibilities in this position will include creating and maintaining a cost matrix to enable transparency on inbound logistical costs to support the business with supply chain efficiencies. Co-ordinating with various teams to make sure that planned arrivals are viable; ensure that vehicles are on schedule and that forecasting and in-take volumes are adhered to ; progress chase direct delivery and vehicles due for unload to make sure that they are running on time and without issue. Checking planned arrivals against RENCS arrivals board to ensure that allocated slots are correct; maintain spreadsheet data on freight costs and potential savings; maintain KPI information in order to report to management the accuracy of arrivals for both EU and containers.
To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated with an organised logical approach with the ability to prioritise in an ever changing environment.
Key Skills
• Good numeric skills
• CPC qualified
• Well organised and good attention to detail
• PC literate with Excel skills to intermediate level
• A logical/common sense approach to problem solving
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Shift Pattern
Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm
