We are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months.

You will be responsible for managing and executing specific marketing materials, marketing programs or events that have been identified in a marketing plan

The successful candidate will support in the development and execution of marketing communication plans and programs. This includes (traditional and online) advertising, public relations, sales promotion, personal-selling oriented strategies and tactics, and drafts for integrated marketing communications plans and materials.

You will monitor and track marketing communications projects and events as they relate to assigned area. You will coordinate the publication of internal and external product sales literature and other collateral materials, serve as a resource on projects and work assignments, keep business and product teams apprised of the status of marketing communications materials, provide costing, budget, research, and analytical support to marketing management, monitor supplier performance and provides oversight, and management of day-to-day requirements.

You must have knowledge of current communication disciplines and practices, e.g. creative brief development. You will provide input to and implement the communication plan for a specific product or line of products, market, process, etc. You will know the process by which to create marketing collateral pieces (print production) and able to lead the process using the approved tool. You will approve copy and layouts for production, coordinate with the printer and understands the differences in types of paper, benefits versus costs of number of colours, and types of finishes on collateral materials, and manage the distribution and/or fulfilment processes.

A University, or equivalent degree in journalism, marketing communications or a related subject is required.
