Are you an experienced Customer Service Executive? Do you have experience of using SAP? If so we may have the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client is currently looking for a Customer Service Executive to be work within their busy department on a permanent basis. You will support the Customer Service Team Leaders and Customer Service Controller in providing accurate, timely and value added data on orders, credits and customer management.

You will be responsible for the following;
- All orders received are accurately processed for the business in a timely fashion. This includes the management of orders received via online, post and telephone, for order input, stock allocation and order release.
- All credits are raised against returns, authorisations, shortages, refused orders, prices queries and retro funding in line with specific account procedures and agreed credit authorisation limits.
- Monitor received orders against forecast and release promotions in line with the promotional calendar to ensure on counter dates are met.
- Process e-commerce orders, credits and payments.
- Monitor and support all customer orders through to delivery working with other departments and outside organisations as necessary.
- Working to a target system, with strict month end deadlines.
- To understand and develop SAP functionality. To constantly seek to improve systems and procedures to help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department and ultimately increase Customer Service.
- To build and sustain excellent industry, market and brand knowledge and awareness.
- To represent Customer Services at internal and external meetings as necessary and keep the team updated.
- To log all debit notes and process quickly and accurately.
- To assist the team in the day to day order to cash processes as necessary.
- To provide training for holiday cover and sick leave, as well as cross-training with team colleagues.
- To assist in the creation and maintenance of department procedures.
- To attend training programmes both internal and external as and when required.
- To ensure filing systems are maintained, work station and office remain tidy.
- To liaise with all customers (internal departments and customers) to ensure service levels are met.
- To provide management reports as required.
- To inform management of any problems or issues that affects the Company or department’s performance.

The successful candidate will be a responsible individual, be conscientious, enthusiastic, and work to a high level of quality and integrity. Specifically excellent communication skills;written and verbal. Must have the ability to communicate facts in a clear & persuasive manner. Telephone skills are an essential part of this role; the jobholder must be polite but firm. Computer Skills: Experience working with SAP and Microsoft packages is essential. Other generic business systems and accounting package would be an advantage. Technical Skills: Numerical and analytical skills. Planning and Organisation: Self-motivated and able to efficiently manage a varied portfolio of responsibilities.
