Are you looking for a new position? Do you have fantastic data entry and Excel skills? If so we may have the perfect opportunity for you. This position will initially be a fixed contract of 12 months, with the possibility of extension dependent on company growth and development.
You will be responsible for the following;
- Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
- Maintaining data entry requirements by following data procedures
- Verifying entered customer data by reviewing, correcting, deleting or re-entering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete
- Capturing & collating the relevant data for the required department
- Creation and maintenance of customer accounts and hierarchies for all business sectors
- Maintenance of customer discounts
- Assisting with data exception reporting
- Support & assist with the credit assessment of new customers
- Maintain accurate notes and records
- Assist the Credit Controller with the portfolio of their accounts
- Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers at all levels
- Meeting of period targeted KPI’s, ensuring the agreed SLA is achieved
The successful candidate will have excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to deliver to agreed commitments, to be able to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure and work on their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. You will have a good telephone manner and good Excel skills with the ability to do basic formula's.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Experience of having worked in a fast moving, pressurised team environment.
- Excellent Literacy skills
- IT Literate with Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent typing skills, minimum 50 wpm
- An understanding of data confidentiality
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and pay attention to detail
- Firm focus on ability to work to deadlines, often on ones own initiative
- Can adapt to new systems and procedures
- To be confident & self motivated
