Purpose of the Job:
Provide an administrative / clerical /support service to assist in the smooth running of the service. Two days per week. Days can be flexible to suit candidate.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1Maintain filing systems, computerised and manual, ensuring the storage and retrieval of documents is in line with the County’s Record Retention Policy, data protection and freedom of information protocols.
2.Produce all types of office documentation such as Word and Excel documents, to defined standards, checking and ensuring work is high quality.
3.Support the day to day clerical and administrative functions of the team, including, answering the telephone and directing enquires to the appropriate member of the Team.
4.Arrange and co-ordinate appointments and small meetings, on behalf of the line manager and other staff within the Unit, dispatching relevant documents within timescales to ensure the process runs smoothly and that accurate records are made.
The successful candidate will require a BDS.
