Network Engineer
I am currently looking for a strong Network Engineer with strong knowledge of networking infrastructure and security covering Cisco switches, hubs and routers, preferably holding CCNA, CCNP or CCSP certification. You will also require knowledge of firewalls, optimisation technologies with knowledge of Windows infrastructures a real bonus.
The role will be working as part of a team who cover the UK and Europe so you must be prepared to travel. The team cover the design, deployment and overall support of Cisco based network and security infrastructures, this role will have an emphasis on network security.
Technical Knowledge:
• L2/L3 network design and support experience
• Knowledge of network protocols, load balancing and optimisation technologies
• Experience of security architecture design
• Detailed knowledge of firewalls
• Experience of voice systems and generic telephony
• Detailed knowledge of VPN, including diagnostics/debugging
• CCNA, CCNP or CCSP certification a real advantage
