Connect2Kent are looking for a learning difficulty assessment officer to work in Kings Hill.
To participate in discharging the local authority's function in relation to the assessment and provision to young people with special educational needs overseeing the smooth provision into adult learning provision or employment.
Liaise with schools and attend meetings to find out the individual needs for each young person.
Ensure that all relevant data and information is accurately recorded onto database.
Liaise with local colleges to ensure young people are appropriately placed and that their needs are identified and are being met.
Carry out individual advice and guidance meetings with young people with SEN to establish and clear and appropriate progression route to FE or other provision complementing the advice provided by the school.
