The post holder will undertake duties that will assist the Local Authority to fulfil its statutory duty to track the education/training activities of all young people up until the age of 20 and up to 25 for those with a learning disability. You will be calling young people to find out what work or training they are undergoing and offering advice. Full training will be given.
The post holder will be expected to work from 3.30pm – 7pm, Monday – Friday and make a minimum of 225 calls per week.
You will need to have good communication skills, excellent telephone manner, be able to empathise with young people, work to targets, keep calm in difficult situations and have good IT skills.
The post holder will need a full DBS check at a cost of £54.
