Due to continued increasing requirements for IT support across the Trust we now have the following vacancy:
IT Technician
· 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Friday with flexibility for on call
· Full year with 33 days holiday per year including bank holidays
· Starting pay £14,642 per annum dependant on experience
Key responsibilities include supporting the IT team in the provision of a helpdesk support service to all areas of the Trust. This service covers all aspects of IT including hardware, software, management information systems, internet, emails, telephone and till systems. The post will incorporate a particular responsibility for the continued updating and maintaining of the Trust websites.
The successful candidate will have an IT qualification to Level 2 or above and will be a competent user of Windows and Microsoft Office. Effective communication and customer service skills, the ability to organise and prioritise workload and to work independently as well as part of a team are essential. A good understanding of website programming and tools would also be helpful. Flexibility to participate in on call covering out of hours for the care team and our retail outlets is required and, due to the multi site organisation, a full driving licence and access to own transport would be an advantage.
