By the Bridge is an independent fostering organisation providing high quality foster care and services to children and their foster families.
We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant on a three month, temporary contract to assist with the day to day processes whilst we implement a new accounting system.
You must be flexible with a can-do attitude and prepared to assist wherever necessary to help the team. You will predominantly be working on the Purchase Ledger processing invoices and bank payments, as well as the Sales ledger performing credit control & preparing statements.
You will be customer focused with excellent attention to detail, an ability to build rapport and maintain good working relationships, confident over the telephone and able to work under pressure to achieve targets. You will also have excellent IT skills including Excel and preferably Sage Line 50.
We offer a salary of £15,000 per annum, pro rata for a three month contract, dependent on experience. The working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.
Please note the successful applicant must agree to an enhanced disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service procedures. Employment will be offered to the successful applicant subject to a satisfactory disclosure report.
