Where you'll be working
The Bridgewood Manor Hotel is a small, friendly hotel that prides itself in offering a relaxed, approachable atmosphere for our customers. In fact, we like to think that our work goes beyond being a job and that we're welcoming guests into our own home. From arrival, to the time we say goodbye, it's our aim to ensure that no guest wants to leave! That's why we're always looking at ways to improve our service further by nurturing and growing our people to achieve their full potential. You can expect plenty of career development opportunities, coupled with lots of recognition and reward for your hard work and commitment. Situated on the edge of historic Rochester, our hotel is easily reached from the M25, M2 and M20.
What you'll be doing
We like individuality, and not just in our people. Our menus are created at each hotel by our Chefs' inspiration and imagination, so no lengthy company standard menus for us! Just kitchen teams who want to create and cook what our customers want to eat and who really can't do enough for our guests.
We've plenty to keep us busy producing great food for our hotel lounge, restaurant and room service, as well as our events and wedding business.
What you'll need
To be passionate about all aspects of food and cooking
To enjoy the buzz of being busy
Good level of spoken English
Determined and Enthusiastic
Happy to work as part of a team
To be committed to work hard as part of our kitchen team which will include weekends and bank holidays
We'd like to hear from you if you've just left school, college or university or you're just inspired to join the hospitality industry as we can offer NVQ training for you
What you'll get
A refreshingly different work experience with a business that will value your individuality and inspire you to achieve your potential, through great training and development - we're proud to have achieved Best Places to Work in Hospitality 'Excellence in Training' Award
