Care Assistant – Canterbury
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring, reliable individuals to work with young adults with physical and learning disabilities.
Successful candidates will be expected to empower our young residents to;
Engage in a range of activities of their choice and provide appropriate physical and personal care throughout the day and night.
We are looking for motivated and committed individuals who must be able to work as part of a team and where necessary, on your own initiative to a high standard. Good interpersonal skills and communication are essential.
Candidates should be able to work fully flexible hours on a shift basis; Day shifts are 8:00am until 08:00pm and flexible to cover night shifts 08:00pm until 08:00am
Proven experience within a care environment is desirable however full training is provided to successful applicants
You must have an NVQ/Diploma 2 in care or be willing to work towards the award.
We offer an hourly rate of pay from £6.63 per hour Social £6.90 per hour Unsocial.
Working hours: 36 Hours per week, which includes days/nights and weekends. Driving License Essential
