Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant
Up to £27,000 pa
Full time (36 hours per week) – Permanent

Job Description
Under indirect supervision the Senior Recruitment Consultant plans, oversees, and coordinates the day-to-day business operations of CFA’s Temporary and Permanent Services function. Actively works with clients to establish and meet temporary hiring and placement requirements. Recruits and administers a large, diverse group of temporary and permanent staff and resolves all human resources-related issues pertaining to the temporary pool.

The role encompasses candidate attraction and selection, client development and relationship building. An equal emphasis on sales and service will ensure that the Senior Recruitment Consultant successfully delivers the key vision of finding jobs for people and people for jobs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Recruits and maintains a large, diverse pool of temporary staff employees to service the day-to-day employment requirements of clients.
•Recruits and maintains a large, diverse pool of permanent candidate’s employees to service the day-to-day employment requirements of clients.
•Promotes the Temporary and Permanent Division to clients and candidates, largely on the phone but also through visits, presentations and networking events.
•Develop business relationships/opportunities with both internal and external potential clients.
•Interview candidates, manage their expectations and gain their commitment.
•Attract new candidates to register by using initiative and creativity to find good quality candidates from a variety of sources.
•Evaluate clients’ staffing requirements and assess how best to meet their needs.
•Find suitable candidates who match clients’ temporary’s assignments or permanent vacancies and promote them to clients.
•Ensure that candidates are fully prepared for their temporary booking or interviews.
•Serves as the principle point of advice, and guidance to all Temporary Workers and potential permanent candidates
•Responsible for all human resources issues associated with the pool, to include recruitment and discipline, and employee relations.
•Handles non-standard, non-routine payroll issues for example fraudulent time sheets.
•Negotiate terms with clients.
•Send all temporary booking details to candidates including maps and client information.
•Send all interview details to potential permanent candidates including maps and client confirmation.
•Complete visit notes after client visits.
•Take up references on candidates.
•Write tender agreements and contracts where and when necessary.


Personal Specification

Candidates will need extensive Recruitment experience, and be exceptional in managing both Temporary/Contract and Permanent Recruitment.

It is advantageous if candidates understand the education, charity, not for profit, fundraising, public sector and or advice and guidance sector however all industry sectors will be considered.

Candidates must have proven success in running and managing a temporary/permanent division within a fast paced recruitment environment.

Candidates must excel in New Business Development and have the ability to achieve a standard of excellence in Account Management.
