Our established Client based in Medway is looking for a fresh Graduate ideally with a Business, Business Sales or Sales & Marketing Degree, Minimum of 2:1. Are you looking for that first step on the ladder?

The role:

To provide admin/sales support to the sales team to enable account mangers to provide a higher level of customer service. The role will be in two phases as detailed below:-

Key responsibilities initially (phase 1)

• Provide Sales/Admin support to the existing team Account Managers
• Taking/making Calls
• Conducting regular store audits
• Collating information on competitors - news, events, products, prices etc
• Look at renewal dates of other key contracts, ensuring customer contact in initiated 3 months in advance
• Provide tracking of leads/competitor info supported with Photo/images
• Stock Management
• Service levels
• Look at existing promotional invoice tracking process and set up a more centralised approach.
• General sales support for range reviews, samples, meetings, presentations etc

(Phase 2)

You will incorporate the following tasks after a period of time in the role, this will vary depending on how quickly you progress:-

• Assume responsibility for a number of Impulse customers and business development opportunities
• Take over some small accounts and move into an Sales Account Manager role
• More sales and lead generation

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Business related degree
• Undertaking or achieved a CIM Qualification
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong process experience and highly organised
• Highly driven with the ability to get things done
• Ability to be innovative and create ideas for solutions to problems
• Strong verbal and written communication stills
• Ability to influence others to gain support for their ideas and take action
• Presentation skills

Must have own transport due to location.
