Working in the Harbour Master’s department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of comprehensive and robust audit trails and key records, including incident and risk assessment data.
You will also be required to produce and promulgate regulatory and navigational information including notices, byelaws and other PLA publications (in various forms); involving the proofing of documents with contracted printers and the use of web content management systems.
To succeed you will have an excellent working knowledge of MS office, databases and reporting systems. You will have a good standard of education ideally A’ level standard (or equivalent) with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should also be able to work effectively and independently under pressure and be able to use initiative in taking work forward to meet deadlines.
