The Creation Lab in Kent has another great opportunity available for a junior website developer. Based at our offices in Kent, you will work alongside our team and help deliver great digital products to our clients.

Starting salary is £15,000 - £18,000 per annum, increasing on a successful probational period.

Job Description

• Delivering innovative and exciting websites, e-commerce and online marketing projects
for our diverse client base
• Developing web functionality and user interfaces as well as a degree of back end coding
• Deliver solutions and code that are robust, flexible and scalable
• Review, build and update existing sites to given specifications
• Managing multiple clients at once, with creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of software and a commercial approach to timescales, costs and deadlines.
• Maintaining client record systems
• Participating and contributing to conceptual and team meetings
• Ability to pitch and sell to new clients
• Work with monthly targets, with the opportunity to earn good commission in addition to salary
• Project manage the creative process from start to finish
• The role will also involve working with our video production side of the business and website presenters

Essential

• knowledge of website design, usability and function
• knowledge of accessibility, W3C standards and onsite / offsite SEO and its impact
• upon website design
• understanding of the setup, design, development and build of CMS websites
• knowledge of HTML and CSS
• use of web authoring tools
• use of Adobe Photoshop to enable image manipulation and website build from PSD layers
