INTERNAL RECUITER / RESOURCING CONSULTANT – LONDON. Internal Recruitment Consultant required. IT Sector.
My client works with some of the UK’s largest organisations, enabling them to stay at the forefront of technology as well as business strategy. They work across a variety of different sectors and their client list includes Sainsbury’s, UK MOD, Home office, AXA UK, Boots, John Lewis Partnership, Vodafone, Jaguar Land Rover and many more
Instead of going to 3rd party agencies to support the recruitment needs of the business, This company has a small but specialised team of Resourcers that provide this niche service from within. They are now looking to supplement the growth their successful in-house team with an IT recruitment professional, able to bolster their service with additional skills from the external recruitment marketplace.
Through delivering the recruitment of IT professionals across varying competencies, this role is a great opportunity to break into one of Europe’s fastest growing Technology Consultancies. The successful candidate will be given the chance to gain a core understanding of the business and the technologies used in IT consulting today.
Overview of Role: To help this company locate and attract the best consultants possible, internally and for its blue-chip clients, in a cost-effective and ethical manner. Maintain and improve the organisation’s reputation as a key supplier within the IT industry.
The role will involve supporting the Resourcing Manager across various activities including:
•Performing both telephone and internet-based research to qualify candidate suitability against requirements, but also imparting knowledge to other resourcers on best-practice techniques to be employed (such as cold-calling, market mapping, talent and network management)
•Providing businesses with screened and qualified (interviewed) candidate shortlists
•Identifying target organisations and candidates using existing company tools and databases, and creating shortlists of candidates for prospecting
•Owning recruitment lifecycle for respective requirements, including internal senior stakeholder management and associated administrative tasks such as database management
•Supporting the company management team as necessary
•Expansion of their network of consultants through existing tools and the proposal of new initiatives
•Working with their Hiring Managers to interpret and refine job specifications and advertising in accordance with guidelines
•Other admin related duties
What we are looking for:
We are interested in individuals who have approximately 2-3 years recruitment experience within the IT domain. Specifically, individuals must have demonstrable experience in executive search/headhunting techniques and a tenacity to secure quality candidates with a highly credible approach.
In addition:
•Fundamental understanding of IT principles with preferable exposure to recruitment in IT Strategy.
•Excellent telephone and face to face communication skills, including interviewing skills
•Enthusiastic
