We are currently looking for SUPPORT WORKERS to JOIN OUR TEAM.

All Seasons and Lauriem Associates LLP is a dynamic provider of HOME CARE and support in the community. Due to EXCITING EXPANSION PLANS we are currently looking for experienced individuals to join our existing team working with mental health, learning disabilities and complex needs client base.

JOB ROLE:
•You should have the confidence to handle complex behaviours that sometimes may be deemed challenging. - To understand and respond to the specific needs of clients with mental health, learning disabilities and complex needs.
•To support the clients to achieve maximum awareness, independence and development physically, intellectually, emotionally and social.
•To protect the rights and interests of those clients by treating each person as an individual supporting their rights and respecting and promoting (where appropriate) their views and wishes.
•To respect the rights and dignity of clients while seeking to ensure that their behaviour does not harm themselves and or other people.
•To liaise with case managers, families and other health care professionals in providing high quality care
•To report immediately any incident, suspicion or sign of physical or verbal abuse, neglect or harm of a client as outlined in the Whistle blowing policy and procedure.
•To work on a shift rota basis

Person Specification:
•QCF/NVQ level 3 or equivalent or other relevant qualification in health/Social care
•Significant experience of working with mental health, learning disabilities, complex behaviours in their own homes and/or out in the community.
•An ability to empathise and advocate for the needs of this client base as required.
•An abilility to motivate and lead support workers in the absence of Deputy Coordinator
•An ability to write accurate client reviews, reports and risk assessments
•To be approachable by and comfortable with clients
•To be willing to participate in the coaching and mentoring of new staff
•To be interested, motivated and committed.
•Driver with full access to a car
