As a Care Support Worker, you will be required to respond to the Service Users personal needs as well as their practical ones to give a service which is sensitive to their individual culture, disability, race or religion.

The role of care worker with is a varied and diverse role covering a variety of tasks which can be broken down in to two main categories.

Domestic Support
•Dusting, vacuuming, general cleaning
•Making beds
•Washing up
•Shopping
•Laundry (not including washing clothes by hand)
•Meal preparation

Personal Support
•Assisting with washing
•Assisting into or out of bed
•Dressing and undressing
•Help with eating and drinking
•Assisting in moving from one position to another
•Night sitting optional
