Telesales Executive

Our client are seeking a telesales person, our client are a very successful niche publishers based in Kent serving the international confectionery and bakery industries. The job involves calling existing and potential customers offering advertising opportunities plus conference tickets and paid for places for an annual chocolate conference. The right candidate will be updating and calling from their existing business to business database of clients - updating the database and writing their own emails and sales letters. The job involves calling for 70% of the time and administration 30%. They expect the business to be 60% existing business and 40% new - so it's not all cold calling.

The company produces magazines and conferences on confectionery and chocolate products and although role is primarily office based, there is opportunity to travel (and eat chocolate!).

They are looking for an ambitious individual with natural phone skills - someone that is inquisitive and not frightened talking to people at a high level. Above all they want someone hungry for sales and out to prove themselves and not give up! Full training provided. Ability to type fast and good english an advantage.

The applicant must have a geniune passion for wishing to enter sales and/or continue with sales from a previous job. Experience is not entirely necessary, however they are looking for a sharp and quick thinker that fundamentally has a natural ability to want to build relationships with existing customers, and to make new valuable contacts.
They are offering a basic of £15,000 with a generous commission package allowing the successful candidate to be earning circa £20K upwards

There may be overseas travel for the successful candidate and exhibition work. Driving license not essential - but applicant must hold a current Uk passport
